Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our financial audit services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Service Description

AuditNexus provides professional financial audit services including:

  • Financial statement audits
  • Compliance audits
  • Risk assessment audits
  • Custom audit solutions

All services are performed in accordance with Canadian auditing standards and professional requirements.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete financial information
  • Grant reasonable access to records and personnel
  • Respond promptly to audit inquiries and requests
  • Maintain confidentiality of audit procedures and findings
  • Pay fees according to agreed payment terms

Professional Standards

Our audit services are conducted in accordance with:

  • Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
  • CPA Canada professional requirements
  • Applicable provincial regulations
  • International auditing best practices

Payment Terms

  • Fees are quoted as fixed prices unless otherwise agreed
  • Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date
  • Late payments may incur interest charges
  • Additional work outside the original scope requires separate agreement

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and audit findings. Information will only be disclosed as required by law or with explicit client consent. This confidentiality obligation continues after completion of our services.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the following:

  • Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for our services
  • We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
  • Liability is limited to professional negligence in performing audit services
  • Client must notify us of any claims within 12 months

Intellectual Property

All audit methodologies, templates, and proprietary materials remain our intellectual property. Clients receive rights to use audit reports and findings for their business purposes only.

Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice:

  • 30 days notice for termination without cause
  • Immediate termination for material breach
  • Fees for completed work remain due upon termination
  • Confidentiality obligations survive termination

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, or through the courts of Ontario if arbitration is not available.
